These were done as custom orders for two separate clients. Tom Hanks as Captain Miller from Saving Private Ryan and Clint Eastwood as Josey Wales from The Outlaw Josey Wales.
Jimi Hendrix, talk about gone too soon. He was the definition of innovation during his time using feedback and other techniques to create sounds that no one had done before. His unique style made him a legend then and continues to be considered one to this day. This piece is currently being sold at The Keg Cowboy in Lexington, SC.
I created a time lapse video of this painting and if you are interested in seeing how it's made, the video is below.

Alrighty then
Gene Wilder is one of my favorite actors and I have always loved Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. In this particular piece I felt the most important part should be his eyes. The way he captivated millions of people during the movie had to be reflected in my painting.
"So shines a good deed in weary world"
You all know the first rule. This is my most recent work and was an exciting challenge. I increased the size of the canvas by almost double what I typically paint on to capture the intensity of the cover. I am pleased with how it turned out and will definitely be using this size canvas again. This piece is currently for sale.
Here we have Coach Boom aka Will Muschamp. He is the head football coach of the football team at the University of South Carolina, my alma mater. He is known for his passion and attention to detail. I have painted him multiple times from different points of view but this one is a favorite because of the emotion he is showing. He took us to a 9-4 season in 2017 and has improved the program tremendously.
I can't speak of tremendous improvements without mentioning Frank Martin. He is the head coach of the men's basketball team at the University of South Carolina and is pictured in this gallery as well. He led the team to its first ever Final Four appearance in 2017.
Go Cocks!
I got a fever and the only prescription is...more cowbell. I debated making the description for this only Christopher Walken quotes but I had to show some restraint. He's been in countless movies, hosted SNL, and provided enough entertainment two times over. He's a legend in my book and his legacy is timeless.
Another musical icon here with John Lennon. His music captivated millions and has influenced artists alike. My fiancée reminded me how much her mother loved John Lennon so I decided to paint this one and gift it to her for Christmas this past year. The iconic glasses act as the icing on this one.
I have always played golf growing up and continue to play any chance I can. Tiger Woods was the reason I was glued to the TV on Sundays. In his prime he could not be stopped and would trounce any competition. In 2013 I was fortunate enough to track him on Saturday and Sunday with my brother at The Players Championship in Ponte Vedra, Florida and watch him win the tournament. I decided to paint this because as of right now, he is back playing competitively and I hope the best for him.
This piece is for sale, please contact for inquiries.
This picture showcases some of the work I have done upon request and for myself. From left to right it is: Floyd "Money" Mayweather, Carrie Fisher, Gene Wilder, Will Muschamp, Brad Pitt, Guy Fieri, and Tom Petty.
It may seem random but I like to think of it as being able to create a variety.
In 2017 we lost a legend. Tom Petty's influence spanned for years and hit many generations. I personally love his music and will continue to listen to it for years to come. No frills on this one, just Tom.
Fun story with this one. I was on the beautiful Lake Murray one day over the summer when I was approached by someone who had heard that I do paintings. He showed me a picture of Marvin Gaye and said he would love to have one. The following weekend we got back on the boat and headed on to the lake only this time I had a completed piece. We docked at my step brother's lake house to hang out for the day and surprise, the painting was officially delivered by pontoon. All smiles equals success.
I couldn't help but get some of the 60's Rat Pack started. When you hear a voice like Frank Sinatra's it almost stops you in your tracks. He was my grandfather's favorite musician and will always be one of mine. There's something about cutting a Sinatra album on, having a whiskey neat with a cigar, and enjoying a summer night on the porch. (That's what I do at least)
The same can be said for the equally talented Dean Martin. I was asked to create this piece and did not even hesitate. I am fascinated by the style in which they carried themselves.
Don't worry, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop are soon to be added to this gallery.
Eminem is regarded as one of the best in the business when it comes to music. A close friend jokingly said she would steal this painting if she had to, I gave it to her the next time I saw her. I wanted to capture the real Slim Shady in this for her. Whether you agree or disagree with some of his content, the man is a rap genius.
This is the first collage I made after really getting involved in painting. Each piece in this picture was sold at The Keg Cowboy or Libby's in Lexington, SC. (Shout out to both of these restaurants for continuing to sell my work. If you're looking for a good beer or some good eats I recommend visiting both of these establishments.)
Prince shows one of the first times I've painted in color but it only seemed right to paint him in purple.
Guy Fieri keeps this world turning. I tried my best to emulate his look for Halloween a few years back and more recently painted him so I could hang him in my kitchen. It's only fitting right? He is well known for his outlandish style and eccentric anecdotes but the man knows what he talking about. He remains in my top 5 of people I admire and want to meet. Next stop, Flavortown.

Decided to change things up on this one and create a little contrast with a grey background. This piece is part of my push to paint once a day.
